With the opening of an international base in New Orleans, Louisiana, SPMJ Comunicação commemorates 30 years of business in the market of corporate communication. Specialized in service to international brands that promote activities in Brazil and Latin America, such as IEEE, Irdeto, Silver Springs Networks, Abbvie, and many more, SPMJ believes that the new site will be, along with support for current clients, also a strategic move in order to gain new business.
According to Sergio Poroger, Associate Director of SPMJ, this was a natural move considering the expertise of this agency obtained through its many years in business. “Our company was one of the pioneers in supporting international brands since the 1990’s, by identifying an opportunity to work with large companies that come to Brazil, but do not have knowledge of the Brazilian market. We are equipped with a network of partners throughout Latin America and we are prepared to offer support in all of the region. This is also an efficient way to sidestep a complicated moment in which we find our national economy today,” explains Sergio.
In New Orleans, the International Business Development Manager, Katie Gray, with considerable experience in the American corporate market, joins the SPMJ team and will be responsible for local prospecting. “We are enthusiastic about the possibilities of growth and working intensely to make those opportunities a reality,” adds Katie.
